Verb

“Continue” is「続ける（つづける）」or「継続する（けいぞくする）」in Japanese. 「私は食後も書き続けた。」means "I continued writing after dinner."「(私たちは)今後も活動を継続する。」means "We will continue our activities in the future."

"Look it up" is「調べる(しらべる)」in Japanese. 「(私は)漢字の書き順を忘れたので調べます。」means "I forgot the stroke order of the kanji, so I’ll look it up."「自分で調べてください。」means "Please look it up yourself."

"Enter" is「入る（はいる）」in Japanese. 「(私は）毎回前のドアから教室に入る。」means "I enter the classroom through the front door every time."「姉は来年美容の学校に入る。」means "My older sister will enter beauty school next year."

"Learn" is「学ぶ(まなぶ)」or「学習する(がくしゅうする)」in Japanese. 「私は手話を学んでいます。」means "I’ve been learning sign language."「岩田さんは英語を学習する。」means "Iwata-san studies English."

"Scold" is「叱る(しかる)」in Japanese. 「井上さんが先生に叱られて悲しそうだ。」means "Inoue-san looks sad because his teacher scolded him."「叱られないように気を付けて。」means "Be careful not to get scolded!"

"Lose" is「失う(うしなう)」or「無くす（なくす）」in Japanese. 「(私は)あなたを失うなんて考えられません。」means "I can't imagine losing you."「菅野さんは池にスマホを落として無くした。」means "Kanno-san dropped his smartphone in the pond and lost it."
